just picked up my new/first corn snake. was wondering what kinda special patterns and marking and what not he might be exhibiting as i have NO clue about any of that. heres a picture of him eating, only good picture of him i have so sorry if anyone is a lil squeemish about such things... though... i have a feeling nobody on a snake forum would be lol http://www.imagedump.com/index.cgi?pick=get&tp=546235 oh and hello everyone, my first time posting here =)

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the snake!

Just a thought... this might be better in the Photo's section next time. Or maybe General chit chat since its not all corn!

Lovely snake though!

Welcome to the forum! I love corns with intense feeding repsonses, I have a corn myself that likes to kill the already dead mouse I give him a second time :D Your snake looks like a normal, or possibly an okeetee. Though I am no expert, maybe someone can pitch in on this thought?

Did the place you got him from tell you he was a hybrid and thats it? They should know what type of king and what morphs of corn were crossed to produce him. Great looking snake by the way.

all he knew was that it was 3/4 corn, and 1/4 california king snake. other then that i really have no idea, i was just hoping somebody here could maybe tell me if he had any patterns that are special or not

The color reflects a normal corn snake but a Cali king x corn cross is called a Jungle Corn. It is very pretty though congrats.

I dont know about special patterns, but it looks similar to an Okeetee or a normal to me. You should take some more photos.
