my corn snake laid eggs over 80 days ago and i am totally gutted... only one egg hatched all the others either turned bad or the infants died in the eggs such as the one that died bitting itself( shown in a previous post) is this my fault? we did not expect eggs at all in the first place so when we got them we researched as much as we could and followed guide lines to the closet point! one baby hatched and im glad to say he is doing great a fantastic little eater once he had his first shed! so why did all the others die?

ONE corn snake laid 80 eggs?
If so, they must have been extremely small, and therefore almost definitely infertile.
You're lucky even one hatched.

Now,
If these were all seemingly fertile, then you may have done something wrong.

Some quick things I can think of:
extreme temperature fluctuations
Soap/chemical contamination of the containers
improper moisture (if there were not still enough moisture at hatching time, the shells may not have been permeable enough to cut open. If there were too much moisture, its possible they drowned)

It reads 80 DAYS not eggs.

As for the eggs, sometime these things happen. As long a your temps were correct and constant, I am sure it is no fault of yours.
