I am feeding 1 pinkie every 6 days which is going well. The only thing is she wont eat unless she is covered in the container and its in darkness.
Anyone else found this and is it something she is going to grow out of as she gets older.

Many thanks

They do have their little foibles and preferences - one of the joys of Corn ownership! It might be something that persists, but she might also get a bit braver as she grows.

It's just the instinct to stay out of sight of things that might eat her. If she was out in the wild, she'd be especially vulnerable to predators whilst swallowing, as she wouldn't be so mobile.

I have a few snakes who require to be covered to eat. Your snake might become more comfortable, but maybe not.

It really is strange as she is the most outgoing snake and comes to the front of the viv to be handled, figure that one out.

I guess she just has very well developed survival instincts when she eats!
