15 qts. Too Big?

R.W.

Call me Richard
I was gonna post this in one of the cornsnake sections, but since this is specificaly related to Honduran Milksnakes I went ahead and put it here.

Some of you may know that I'm trying to get into snake breeding. I do plan on selling, but I don't by any means plan on getting rich, its just something that I want to do.

This could apply to a number of snakes, but I plan on getting a pair of albino hondos soon and had a question about housing hatchlings. I know alot of people use 6 qt. shoeboxes for hatchlings, but my concern is, depending on how many hatchlings there are, not be able to sell them before they outgrow the 6 qt. I know its not an overnight change, but its still worrying me a little.

Would it be okay to use 12qt. or 15qt. tubs for hatchlings, maybe if I added an extra hide or two?

I'd rather build one bigger rack that can hold them longer than have to build another rack when they outgrow 6qts.

I've never heard of a viv being to big before... hmmmm

I guess I need to be filled in on this to.
