2 Snakes in a 20L Ok?

Just a quick question...we have one snake that is just about 2 months old and my girlfriend and I were discussing about possibly adding another one...is a 20L ok for 2 snakes or will they eventually need to be in 2 separate tanks? Also, will 2 snakes be ok with each other in the same cage? Thanks!
 
Just a quick answer....use the search function in the forum, and you'll find a slew of threads regarding this issue. It's debated ad nauseum imho, and you can decide for yourself. I did a search on "housing multiple snakes" and got 17 hits.

The other thing to consider in this equation--since you already have one and will be bringing a new one into the house--is quarantine. It is a very wise idea to keep new snakes quarantined from your current ones for several weeks. If you are going to do that, you will need an additional complete setup for that snake anyway.

we decided we arent going to do it...not worth it... but thank you all....and we will keep you updated with Elmo and the changes we go through with him
