I had a quick question. I fed my snake last tuesday, and then again this sunday (so 5 days apart)....he was very excited to be in his 'feeding tank' and grabbed the pinkie quickly.

My question is, since he was interested in eating, does this mean he has already passed his last meal, and I just havent found it in the tank? or is it possible he hasent defecated yet.

Probably, but not always will that be the case. Most corn snakes are oppertunistic feeders. Meaning they are going to take a meal whether they need it or not!

Pinkies don't leave much of a "signature".

The parts of a mouse that are normally eliminated (fur and some hard parts) aren't yet developed in pinkies.

Mine has been kind enough to leave a "pinkie signature" upon me twice, now. It looks a lot like bird poop, but the liquid part is black and it stinks a whole lot more. Its kind of funny, he stops, gets real still, concentrates, and ewwwww! Just like a little kid. Unfortunately I missed the "sign" of what was coming both times. DOH! :puke02:
