473 Phone Scam (new)

I've heard about it, and it isn't just the 473 area code. I found out about it when a weird looking number called my cell and I goggled the area code to see if I could figure out where it was coming from. That one was area code 268.

However, from what I read and from what I understand of how I get charged for using my cell phone, the high charges apply only if you call back because you are curious who called you. Simply answering should only get you charged for regular minutes. It might vary from carrier to carrier, or depending on your plan, I guess.

Yeh, I just heard about this on the news, and I heard If you call it back or stay one the line asking who it is the charges keep reoccurring

I hate these people

That was on the news here yesterday. They said "If you don't know, let it go!" And watch your phone bill for small charges.
