Lilou
Italian sweetie ^.^
Last year i took this little bloodred het pewter. She was not a beautiful bloodred: she has a lot of grey on her body, and sided pattern wasn't so vanish.
I decided to take her because was non-eater. She was born very little and weak; She was so weak that she can't crawl: she turned over herself! [I hope it's the right expression :shrugs:] And she was so little that also a pinkie's head was too large to force her feeding! [new born mouse.. it's right "pinkie"?]
So, i put her in a little container where she couldn't turned over.
After some days, i cut a little chicken stripe, and i forced her feeding. After a day she didn't vomit it, with my great surprise, and after 2 days I forced her again with chicken, and so every 3 days for 2 weeks.
She starts to crawl like a real snake, and I started to feeding force with pinkie's heads, and after with pinkies.
She starts to eat alone only in january 2008, after 7 months of feeding force. The first times only live mice. Now, luckily, she eats all and she weighs 130grams.
I named her "Pollicina", which in italian is "little chicken".. and she will be a great bloodred!
As always: feel free to quote and correct me, if I made language mistakes!
Enjoy!
