I got this adult candy cane female who was normally big, unsure if she was bred or not recently by previous owner, and she was surrendered to the store my fiance works at. Now after she had settled in and ate a few times for me I placed my 10 month old male fire in with her and instant "love". She laid 4 big eggs yesterday and still clearly has more. Which brings me to two questions
1: How long til she will pass all of them?
2: They were bred on 4/17 and she laid 4 good and 4 soft squishy slugs on 5/17 , could the male fire be the dad of this clutch after 1 breeding on 30 days apart from egg laying
 
I have read that it can take anywhere from 1 hour to 24 hours average to lay all of the eggs. Also, 30 days is possible from mating to egg laying. Was she with other males prior to this?
 
Can you feel anymore eggs in her? or see any more visible lumps? If not, you might try giving her a small food item and see if she accepts it (like a fuzzy). Some first time moms only lay small clutches...but other seasoned breeders may have better advice. Eggbinding would be the concern if there are more eggs she can not pass. How big is this female?
 
Well I checked her and I couldnt feel any more eggs and couldnt notice a "bulge anymore than she had before but I took your advice and just offered her a small food item (asf fuzz) and she took it!! Her pre breeding weight was 600+ grams
