SNOW!!!!
Well, as some of you know, I've been away from the forum for a little over a year due to having a baby and being busy with other things. Now I'm back (hopefully for good...I've missed you guys!!!) and I thought I'd show off a few of the snakes I have left after drastically thinning the herd in preparation for Hannah's arrival last November.

Sorry about the feeding pictures, I don't really like posting (or even taking) them, but I was in a bit of a hurry while cleaning/feeding and didn't have the time to do a 'real' photo shoot. Snakes are much more cooperative with food in their mouths.

Sophie: Sunkissed Charcoal, from Walter Smith

Carter: Tessera, from John (Zorro), I believe he was produced by Don

His cute little faded head makes me smile

Unnamed (although I REALLY need to come up with something...I hate having unnamed critters!): Ghost stripe, produced at home
This one is a little dark, sorry

His darling face

The closest I could get to an accurate representation of his color

Moe: Blizzard, also produced at home
She is impossible to photograph...she doesn't have much color, but what is there was washed out. Someday I'll figure out how to get decent pictures of her! She has gorgeous yellow belly checks, but I couldn't get even remotely close to capturing them. :(

Enjoy!! :)

Lemme just say that I LOVE Carter's tail! And Mr. No-Name's colors!

Also, if you want to try to get some more accurate pictures of Moe's colors, try either shooting on an overcast day, or in the shade.

Very nice critters!

Thanks Josh!!

His wee little tail is one of my favorite parts of him, it looks like a zipper!

Isn't he something else? Never in a million years did I think he would turn out like that. His mom is a very dark anery stripe (het hypo) and his dad was a slightly pink ghost (het stripe), so I'm not sure where that color came from! I didn't keep anyone else from the clutch, but none were showing color like that when I sold them (and even he was only showing a little bit). Now help me with a name!! :D

I'll give it a try again once she digests that huge meal, I don't think I've actually tried outside with this camera now that I think about it.

Nice kids you have there, ya I have blizzards and really have a hard time capturing their color as well. They seem to look best with bright light not directly on them. Maybe lol

Senor Sunrise.

I'll have to think about that one...

Lovely snakies! (and nice to see you around again!)

Thanks, Janine!!

Thank you. I'm definitely going to try some 'shade' pictures in a few days with her. She's so pretty and I'd love to be able to show her off a bit.
