A good breedable size/weight for hogs?

jamay

"Serpent Science"
I've seen plenty about female corns needing to be a solid 300g before breeding, but what about a western hognose? I thought I would have more luck posting this question in FC.com but nothing yet. Anyone know from experience? She is 26" and I will weigh her tomorrow.

I'll look in my hognose book when I get home- I'm sure it lists breeding weights. There's a Yahoo Hognose group; if you joined and posted, Jenea Wood would see your question quickly. ks.com has a MUCH more active hognose forum than FC, too. A couple of the really big breeders are occasionally on there. Also, the Alex Hue Reptiles forum has a pretty active hognose section.

Thanks Nanci! I'm going to add you to my list of why I love CS.com
