Hypnoctopus was asking what sort of embroidery I do and suggested making a thread. This is some of the things I do at my jobs and there are other things we do there also but these are some of the things I have photos of.

I crochet, make jewelry, carving pumpkins is one of my favorite things even though I haven't done it in a couple of years, this was from 2011.

Thank you very much rainbow! I've done my niece's birthday cake the last two years, she'll be 6 on Sunday and that is my little sister's gender reveal cake and now today I am in the process of baking my first wedding cake for my little brother's wedding. Jack of all trades sort of thing and they all keep me busy lol. :)
 
Love the cakes! You have lots of talent.

My husband is also into cake making. He is very creative with food, very much the opposite of me, LOL!

This was his proposal cake he made, it obviously worked!

Thank you Hypnoctopus! The bee cake was my first ever fondant cake. Now this wedding cake (in the oven now!) will be my second so I hope it turns out as good or better then the bee cake!!

That is so awesome Tavia!! I have taught my husband to cook (before it was only ever what could come out of a box) and now he does an amazing job and cooks really well. That cake is super cool! He did an awesome job!! I woulda said yes too.
 
Good luck with the fondant! Can't wait to see it when it's done.

My husband hates making the stuff, he always has to go many months between doing so, so he can forget how much he hates it. Can't remember what it was he made the last time, but it required about 4 pounds of blue and red fondant and he told me I'm supposed to smack him the next time he thinks about doing anything that needs that much fondant!
 
bahahaha! the last fondant I had on my husband's cousins wedding cake was really good and it didn't really have that fondant like texture (to me it tastes like sugar cookie gum lol) but the lady that did their cakes makes it home made. Wish I had that recipe lol. I'm really hoping this turns out pretty! Almost done baking now then to let the last ones cool and I'm going to get them all ready to stack so I can stack tomorrow morning. Have to get as much done today as I can because I'm doing photos for them also and have to get the cake done so I can do photos. Definitely keeping me busy.

This is my first ever wedding cake, my second cake ever using fondant, and my first cake this large. It got rave reviews on taste also, so I'm pleased it came out as well as it did!! This was for my little brother's wedding.

Thank you! For the wedding being dragon ball z themed it was really elegant and nice. The ceremony was even based on dbz and at first it sounded like it was going to be super crazy but my sister in law sent it to me and it was pretty cool. The other two dragon balls they used in the ceremony and gave to the mothers.
