I've hear people talk about these but this is my first female to do an entire clutch this way. There were 24 eggs and in moving them most of the attachments broke. Mainly because she surprised me by biting my hand repeatedly. :eek1: That's also a new one for my records! I just got done telling a new to breeding member that none of my females, even the meanest, has ever bitten me when I was removing eggs, HAH! Just goes to show you how things can change in an instant.

Hmmm....

Just curious. My female just finished her pre-lay shed. She had a small snack the other night, and then she went back into her nest box. I woke up in the morning, and there was a small pile of yellow dust on the floor of her tank. It looks like when she poops, but instead of it being the white part of her poop, it was yellow. Also, there was no brown part to the poop present. I know this sounds disgusting, but I am curious about what it is. Has anyone had this happen before? The best I can figure is that it is calcium or something from her body making the eggs. Any ideas?
