I had to take a little drive to get some frozen mice, so I figured Andy should go with me...btw He loves to ride in the car!

Watching the world pass by...

I let him out to lay in the dashboard...

My view from the driver's seat. Yeah, those are little gummy mice on my radio...they make me smile :)

He resituated himself, and his face made me giggle!

Please know that I wouldn't let him go around the car if I didn't think it was safe. He tends to pick a place and hang out in the warmth. Thanks for looking! :D

Thats funny lol. I was in the passenger seat one time, holding a hypo okeetee that is 5ft plus and the car next to be freaked out and almost caused an accident. Nice snake.

it's cute but...
i have to be the party pooper. i have heard many stories of a snake escaping in a car, never to be found again. ripped out the seats, dashboard, etc, but the stench of their death sure stuck around...

having a slithering snake in your car while you're driving is not only dangerous for the snake, but also dangerous for you, as it makes you a distracted driver!

Thanks everyone!

@squamish, I knew not everyone would approve. Believe me, if he moves from the dashboard, I pull over and put him back in his carrier. He's figured out that leaving his designated spot means he goes back in the cage. I can't imagine that he's nearly as distracting as some people with their large dogs trying to climb in their laps as they're driving, but to each his own.

Cute pic But I am in a the party poopers club as well, my nerves would get shot, they have a knack for being a pain to pull out

Fun pics but please keep in mind that he can be gone in a second up inside your dash board.

I have know a few people right here in Maine, that have lost snakes in a car to being allowed to free range while the owner drove. In fact, one of them came to our place to ask for help...all I could offer was putting a small box with a hide and a mouse with a water bowl in it and hope it comes out.

Just keep that in mind.
He is a looked and a ham non the less!
