A Pair of Abbott Okeetees!

These two Okeetee's were a Valentines gift from my boyfriend. He got them delivered from Lee Abbott himself and then brought them to me down at college! They are unrelated male and a female! I was so thrilled I nearly fainted!! Both eat with no problems and have great temperments. Best Valentines Day gift ever!!! :dancer:

First two pics are of the female and the last is the male, who appears to be a little bit older :)

Head Pattern

This is a little OT, but...

How common is that head pattern, where there's that little break in the spear? My okee's got it, and I've seen a lot of others that also have it. However, my okee is descended from love-stock... So is it something that possibly cropped up often in the wild population?
Has anyone else noticed this?

WOW, what a deal! You're a lucky gal! Abbott's Okeetee's are my favorite Corn Snake morph! They're so gorgeous and yours are no exception to that! :)

:eek1: Lovely! :crazy02:

Definately keep us updated and post up their pics in this thread when they define their color even more. :) They look like they will be very nice and vibrant!

Thank you everyone for your comments! :wavey:

I will post updates periodically in this thread to show their progress in color. Hopefully this will turn into a nice progressive thread, stay tuned!

JaimeE: Hm, that is an interesting idea. I haven't a clue as to whether it's a wild trait or not. :shrugs: But on a side note, head patterns are always fun to decipher!
