A Pretty Normal Question

My snake had her first shed a couple days ago, and I checked carefully to make sure both her eye caps were includ5ed, however, the tip of her tail was not. I know this is a common thing, and I soaked her for 20 and let her slither through my fingers to remove the end of the tail...but I was wondering why this happened?

My humidity was 64, and she even had a humid hide that I made for her, and she still didn't shed completely. I'm just curious as to what I did wrong?

There's not really much you need to do. Usually they do fine without anything special such as extra humidity, extra rough surfaces, etc. Those things just help when they're having a hard time shedding completely (so if your snake fits that description I would keep using them). That's just the way it is sometimes. It won't be a problem unless you leave it that way for several sheds, that can cause the end of the tail to die. Smaller snakes have a harder time shedding I would say than larger snakes. Just keep an eye on it. My opinion.
