a really cool shed

I knew Hendrix would shed soon, because he just was in blue a couple of days before. I had him out on Friday night, and he started rubbing along my hands and fingers like a cat does. He would dig his nose right into my fingers, then turn his head and rub as hard as he could. I thought it was so cute, so I told my son to hold him so he could experience it. After a few minutes, my son let Hendrix roam around on him, and Hendrix went down to his belt, and started rubbing along it, we looked down, and saw that Hendrix's skin had rolled over his eyes, like a turtleneck sweater! LOL, he kept rubbing and within about 5 minutes, he had shed completely! a beautiful shed!! That was the coolest thing I've seen in a long time.

My daughter's pet, Sammi Snake, started her first shed with us in my hand. It really is a cool thing to experience. Unfortunately, my daughter was at mommy's house when it happened, so she missed it. In fact...she has been at mommy's house for ALL of Sammi Snake's sheds...peculiar...

Anyhow...yea...it is really cool!

Wow, so many people rarely/never even see their snakes shed, that must've been a really cool experience :)

I have only witnessed 1 shed of my 3 snakes. That was Tiaga, about a week after we got her, in fact was my birthday, new years eve. My girls and I were sitting here watching a movie at about 2am and I looked over and saw her about 1/3 of the way shed. Never have I been lucky enough to have one shed while I was holding them. Congrats on an almost never to happen experience!
