Since I'm not all that well versed in corns, I figured it worth the hour trip to Hermes' vet for a yearly check up when the reminder came in from our visit last year due to his mangling his vent. This will be his last visit, unless god forbid something happens, but was worth it my eyes to have very experienced eyes check over his vent now that it's healed.

The Dr commented on how pleasant he was to exam, he got a great bill of health and his vent has completely healed and even grew back a vent scale :) It was pretty neat, for me, to see how the Dr pried his mouth open with a little stick to make sure everything in there was good. Now if only all my animals could be as well behaved for the vet as Hermes was.
