Abbotts Okeetees!

Alaya

Crazy Alaskan
I picked up a new pair of snakes yesterday :). I can't get over how BIG they are, I'm used to my little sand boas and baby corn. Even my ball is under 100g (but not much).

The girl is 585 grams, the boy 690! They are gorgeous, and I am quite happy to have them. They are really calm about being handled, though I don't think they were handled much before.

The second photo is a little washed out, but shows her interesting zigzag patches.

Both are true to color. I love his personality, all calm and neat to hold.

They are from 2007 and were bred in the past, but not last year. Hoping to have some Abbotts Okeetee babies this year!.

I welcome any comments on their body condition. The girl I bought them from was going on and on about how fat the female it, but she doesn't look very overweight to my inexperienced eyes. Maybe could loose a little, but not obese.

NICE OKEETEES !!!!!

Gotta LOVE a Okeetee Cornsnake! That is a Swwweeeettttt pair, and you should get some AWESOME babies from those BEAUTIES!!!

NICE Pick-Up!

Thanks everyone, I'm really happy with them.

I love the cleanness of the male's pattern. I really like bold saddles with nice thick borders.
And I love the mix-up of the girl's patterns. Something a little different and unique.

Thankfully I can always know which one is the male and which one is the female! I certainly wasn't thinking when I put them in the car, and simply put both the (unlabeled) bags in the same spot. I had just driven 350 miles, through 3 mountain ranges and 2 snowstorms, then had to deal with city traffic I'm not used to; I was really out of it. I got myself good and lost in the city I spent 15 years growing up in.
