Hi all- I'm new to this hobby and have been absorbing all the literature I possibly can on the subject of corns. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good book(s) specifically geared towards the genetics/color morphs of corns?

Thanks in advance.

I second Robbie's advice. The annually published "Cornsnake Morph Guide" is an excellent resource for understanding the morphology of cornsnakes.

I also have an incomplete listing of some of the most common morphs and how they are made posted on my website HERE.

Hi,
If you want a good way to help you figure out the morph game you can get the Genetic Wizard program that was made by Marcel Poots to help you. This program is great to help you learn all the basic morphs as well as the combo morphs.Take your time to play around with it and it should help you to start to understand the genetics of Cornsnakes. You can download it from his site here.................

"MP Genetic Wizard"

Click the "Geneticwizard" button at the top left of the page and it will direct you to the page so you may download it. When on that page you will see a link/button in the upper right part of the page. I use this program all the time and it works great. It is what helped me to understand/grasp the genetics in Cornsnakes. It even makes the punette squares at the bottom of the program as well. Marcel did his homework for this app and it is one of the best tools for this hobby. Hope this helps.
