Advice on viv for a Hogg Island Boa

Naagas

Deserae :)
The Hogg Island that I got (and am going to rehome) at the reptile expo came in a small tank (maybe 30 gallons?). He needs to be transferred to a larger home ASAP... I've been holding him daily, but it isn't fair to him to be cramped up.

So... What is a good type of viv for him? He likes to climb. Does anybody have some creative advice for me? I'm fine building something.

I just have never had something so large and climb-y. What would a good hide be for something so large? Ideas? I've been searching online, but I haven't found much. :shrugs:

I don't think boas necessarily need a hide. I would get him a vision cage and put some branches in there for him. Vision cages are relatively cheap and perfect for large snakes. If you want to provide a hide, do something naturalistic, like large fake plants. A piece of plywood propped up on one end works too.
