hi every1

just a quick question, i have changed the viv around a bit and decided to put aspen in and another hide with some artificial vine, sid the corn just loves it LOL,im a little worried about feeding, i know that it will be deadly for the snake to ingest the aspen, and its also not good to handle the snake after it has fed is it will throw the pinkie back.
do i feed on a newspaper or in a seperate container then slide the snake back into the viv.

I go for the separate container. Keep handling to a minimum on the way back into the viv and all will be well.

Feeding on newspaper inside the viv is OK until he decides to start moving the mouse about - still a risk of picking up some aspen.

I use a seperate feeding container aswell. Like you, I was worried about handling him after feeding. After talking to people on here, I now lower his seperate container into his tank and let him climb out himself as to not handle him. He seems to react fine to this and so far, fingers crossed, have had no problems.

i did think of that but the seperate container that i was going to use looks little too large for to put into the viv.unless i move 1 of his hides then put it back after he has got out of the seperate container.

You don't have to put the feeding container back in the viv if it won't fit. The rule about not handling after feeding means actually handling. A few seconds to gently lift him back in shouldn't be a problem.
