After dinner cruise

Anyone else's snake cruise around its tank for a while after eating. One of my snakes retreats right into the hide on the warm side of the tank after eating, while the other cruises around her tank for 45-60 minutes after every meal.

Just an odd observation and was wondering if anyone notices their snakes doing the same :)

Some of mine do that as well. And then sometimes it looks like they're going for a drink of water. I try to leave them alone, so I don't usually see it. But they seem to like to take a drink after eating. Or maybe some are still in hunting mode as well.

My snake likes to cruise after eating as well. Usually she gets a long drink and then cruises for an hour or so. I feed her on my kitchen counter or on my couch and handle her very carefullly to put her away and even after moving up to fuzzies which cause her to have a good size bulge she still cruises a bit. After a while she burrows under and I wont see her for 3 to days.

Mine will go and actively hunt in its tank after eating and if it weren't for reading a lot on corn snakes and that huge lump in its body I'd think he was starving! lol. Sometimes he'll stay active and hunt for a few days before giving up the hunt and digesting his food for a 2-3 days. lol. I think he'd eat till he split in two if I let him. lol.

They'll certainly eat so much that they regurge, if you let them! Nothing funnier than a Corn with a large mouse bulge, making out that they're on the verge of starvation. Doesn't really look that convincing...
