After Feeding...

Hi,
Just wondering how people go about getting their corns from their feeding tubs back into the vivs after feeding, if you feed in seperate tanks that is? May seem like an odd question but I never like disturbing my snake when hes just had a meal. Any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks.

Just pick them up like you did getting them out , just try to avoid the lump area. I would think the 48 hour rule is meant as constant handling and not for a quick move.

i usually dump my tub very slowly onto my tree, they slowly slide onto the tree....avoid dropping them at all cost....just slowly let them slide onto something that can support them in their tank....i hate handling them because thats when you most likely when you will get bit.

thats a good question also...

Never had that problem, but heck, all snakes are different.

I usually just put the feeding tub back into the tank sans lid, and let them come out when they are ready.

I simply pick them up and place them back in their vivs. I used to be very careful and would put the feeding tank inside my snake's normal viv and wait for him/her to crawl out. That process was a bit tedious however, it didn't last too long.
If you're careful about it simply picking up your snake and placing him back down again isn't going to cause a regurge.

I have never had a snake act aggressively towards me or bite me after feeding it.

I try to slowly slide my snake out of his feeding container and into his viv by gently dumping him in. Last time he flopped out and fell a few inches. But it didn't even phase him.

After I feed mine, he tracks my fingers with his head if they come near. He likes to strike at his mouse, and I know my finger would be next if I grabbed him :eek1:

I completely agree. I just gently grab him and put him back in a central area in his tank. From there, I let him do his thing.
