Ahh! Well, my escapee is gone again... How long this time I don't know. I went to go feed my corns last night and I guess I never put the lid on properly and for the SECOND time he has managed to slip away... I feel awful and I think he has headed for the vents :( Searched everywhere for this little guy, he was one of my favs. Sorry for posting this but I honestly feel horrible that I could let this happen a second time... For all you people with lost snakes I wish you luck in finding them.
Thanks for listening...
Kristy

Kristy,

I am sorry to hear about your missing snake. That's a real bummer. I've "lost" several snakes over the years (before buying a nice lidless rack system) and I found all but one. Most were found in the same room in which they disappeared, days or weeks later. One I even found a year later... outside! It hadn't grown at all, but it wasn't skinny.

Don't give up hope!

ya keep looking, once i lost a snkes that was my fav and i spent hours looking and finally i saw that he has gone into a crevice on the lid of teh viv, so he never really escaped, lotta lost time:rolleyes: just look in all the small places where he\she could fit, like under bed in matress, closet good luck hope u find it;)

Never give up~
don't worry. It will pop back out once it's time~

Hope that you'll find it soon~
Remeber to put a lot of water out so that it at least will have a chance to drink water~

Good luck in finding the little one~

Snakes tend to run the perimeter of a room along the baseboards. Traps are more successful if they are placed on the outsides of a room.

this is what to do ........... put paper bags around you r house with a bowl of water in them and that isnt how we found my little one.... last nite my cat was looking around and my mom got up to look around 4 her and then she was laying on the ground beside the wall!!;)

AHH! I FOUND HIM

I had a GREAT Little surprise today!! My mother found him in the basement surprisingly when he was lost upstairs over a couple months ago!!
For all of those who have lost ones out there don't loose hope, they come when you least expect it!!
Here is a pic of my anery and my okeetee(the one we just found) Look yourself and compare the size... my okeetee is the oldest and was about the same size as my anery before

I am so glad you found him!! Congratulations.
Now - don't risk a third time!

We still have two at large but it's been even longer for them so I have little hope.

Anyway - great news!

Skye :)

WOW, big change in size over those few months. The Okettee (on the left) was the missing one.
