Hey guys, was wondering if someone could give me the approximate age of my corn snake. She is a motley, female, 30cm in length and weight is about 15g and also how many pinkies i should feed her? Got her last week.

According to my records, mine was 30cm at about 2 months old, but was 15gr at 4 months. Have you weighed your snake after eating and without pooping? This usually influences the weight.
So my guess is she might be aroung that, 3 months maybe?

According to a modified Munson plan someone posted on this site (can't remember who or where, I just saved the image) from 16gr to 25gr you should be feeding 2 pinkies (2-3gr each) every 6-7 days. So maybe feed 1 or 2 times more a meal of 1 pinky, and then switch up.

No real way to tell age. Some grow fatser than others some get fed less some have better temps. Too many variables to tell.

For 15g I would stick with 1 pinkie. Munson plan can be a bit aggressive I always wait until my snakes are in the middle of the range before moving up.

My only thought is that the majority of corn snakes hatch in the mid-late summer, so with you being in the Southern Hemisphere that might be an early 2015 hatchling, 3-4 months old. Doesn't really answer your question but it's a guess.

Yea that makes sense though, thanks a lot!

Awesome thanks guys, will check it out again, and yea i was thinking maybe 2 pinkies every 7 days?

I would go with one pinky every 5 days instead. 2 is a pretty big meal for a little guy like yours, and like most babies, they eat more regularly than adults.

And I agree, no way to exact an age on corn snakes!
