AHHHHHHHHHHH MY CORNSNAKES CAGE SHATTERED!!!HELP!!!

nicky

Crazy Herp Chick
Hey everyone,
haven't been here forahwile anyway last night when I was putting my snake back in( it's a sliding top glass tank) the top got caught and when I tryed to push it in it cracked! I took my cornssnake out (didn't want my little girl to get hurt) and put her in a little container. they taped it up for now and I don't trust the tape to be strong enough. So i take here out alot. How long should i "relay" on this tape ot keep my little baby safe?? I havn't got enough money for a new aquruim yet maybe half the money and I odn't trust that tape any suggestions? thanks

You would go to Malmart(Walmart) and get a sweater box to keep her in... they are really not expensive you can get one for 1.97$... but for the tape I wouldnt think that it would be a problem... it should hold up... for as long as its strong... My 40gal side cracked and I taped it up with some electrical tape... and it hasnt caused me any problems at all... so it all depeneds on... hope you get a new tank soon...

Getting a Rubbermaid or like container is a good idea. If you were planning on getting a new tank for her anyway the Rubbermaid is an inexpensive alternative. I wouldn't trust the tape on a sliding glass top. Hope you can get her in something soon.

:) Alicia

p.s. Glad to have you back:D

another idea is if ya go to a petstop thay have those lil tine hampster or cricket plastic boxs that you can open a small portion of the top. I have a lil one for me to put crickets in for my newts and turtles. They come in all sorts of sizes. You can find one to hold a full size corn for about 10 bucks+

hehe and they come in many colors so you can color coordinate with your snake :)
