My name is Michael (823), and I have not been on the forum in a while (or online in general).
This, I suppose, is for those who may still remember me..
I've really missed the lively discussions, sharing of education and information, etc.. but I decided to cut loose with online social gathering. I took (and take) my time trying to study, read and better learn about varying perspectives and historical truths, to better form my own perspective on whatever it may be (politics, relationships, etc). As opposed to the way I may have previously shown my perspective, if I would get carried away and let my ego and opinion pollute much of my own beliefs, as well as my ability to fully learn.
I type this because I'm discovering that this was the only truly healthy place in which I shared my views.. they could be challenged intelligently and with conviction. And I am hopeful that I can try to start contributing in that way again, but better. I'm also hoping that with some of my new interests, such as studying español, that I can get back to having a place to chat with a diverse arrange of people that I may have never known before to also share the hobby or interest.
Anywho.. Take care, and I'll slowly check in on what I have missed.
(BTW, of course I love my Corn Snakes, and also enjoy talkin' bout them too
