Always in cool hide

Every time I look for my snake, he's in the cool hide.

Does this mean I should probably bring the temp of the room down? I've been holding room temp at 74, but with the heater inside the viv, I'm wondering if the cool side might be a bit warm?

I have the warm side set to 85, and it wanders between about 85 and 82 as the thermostat kicks in and out.

Should be fine honestly. They just like to chill wherever they like. If it gets too cold he'll head over to the warm side, and if it's too warm he'll head back to the cool. It's not too unusual for them to spend most of their time on one side or the other, especially during various circumstances. Unless she gets really lethargic or regurges after a meal, I wouldn't worry much.
