It's been a few days since we've been moved into our new apartment and I figured my snake had settled pretty well. So I took her out a little bit ago and I noticed this spot. Does anybody have any guesses what it could be?

It's hard to tell what it is. Maybe she poked or scraped herself on something? I wouldn't be worried at this point. I bet it will go away with her next shed.

She shed on Monday. In the process of the move in fact. Really good shed and I put her in her Viv soon after and tried to avoid her to let her get all settled in. It really does look like a scab. I just can't fit the life of me figure out how she got it.

Whatever it is, it is quite small so I bet it will heal. I would keep a close eye on it in case it is anything that could grow or spread.

Honestly my main issue is that I just moved to this little town and I have no idea where a decent vet would be. Before I was twenty minutes from Colorado Springs which was a good sized city. But that's like an eight hour trip now.
