So here is one of our grandbabies. Amanda was nice enough to loan her sweet, perfect, Yellow Rat male, named Lester, to breed with my Sammie girl.

It took them a bit, actually 5 months, to figure out why they were living together. There are 4 boys.

This is a male just after he took his first meal!

Hope you like him.

we were cleaning his home today and he was wrapped around me and he was just staring at my face like.."smooch my snout?"
He does get smoochies on the snout...weird little guy like is or something..haha

This one is very alert when I am on that end of the room. He ate in about 5 minutes. Well....ok make it 10 minutes. He just had to start a pink, which I did get him eating through the opaque bin, but had to see what the heck I was going with another hatchling. He was watching me take pictures of the opal clutch.

I love how he is changing already! If I wanted one, I think I just have to keep him!

DO I want him?? :duck:

Yes, he will look like Lester and Sammie. Hopefully as bright and clean as Lester for sure!

They will be awesome babies..and both parents have such great personalities.
Lester is calmer than my corns, and he always..always, always wants to know where I am and what I am doing..he is so nosey..but cute

PJ...BTW Sammiw is doing great!..I can reach right in her bin and she doesn't mind at all..I think she has relaxed a bit and I'm not sure if Lester has figured out that she is here?....

Thanks again for posting this little Yellow treasure. I can't wait to bring him home. maybe I'll take comparison photos of the two..
