Amature question.

Hi.. Im all new to this forum, and quiet new to corns too. :cheers:

I have a 1.0 Normal and an 0.1 Amel.. What do i get if i pair those up? (Next year i think)

Then ive read that if you pair a Amel and a Anery B (Charcoal) you get 100% hets for Blizzard, and then if you pair the offspring you get Blizzards.. Is that correct?

1st part -> yes
2nd part -> not exactly.
Your chances will be :
25% - normal het. blizzard
12,5% - charcoal het. amel
12,5% - amel het. charcoal
12,5% - normal het. amel
12,5% - normal het. charcoal
6,25% - normal
6,25% - amel
6,25% - charcoal
6,25% - blizzard

Okay.. That is something that i dont wont to get involved in!
Looks like you guys do some hard work, breeding all those different morphs!

About my Normal x Amel: Then when i pair those up, i will get normals het. for amel, and then if i pair the young i wil get?

If you pair up the hets for amel you will get some amels (about 25%) and the rest normals, each of which has a 2/3rds chance of being het for amel.

If you breed one of the hets back to the amel parent, you'd get approx 50/50 amels/normals in that clutch.

Great advice so far. I just would like to add that you shouldn't breed your female until she weighs 300 grams or more.

Thanks for your graet response.
My 2 corns (the mentioned amel and normal) are being kept in the same cage, so maybe i should seperate them until they are of proper size?
