I have a young amel,

Well the thing is,about 3/4 months ago a moved up from pinkies to fuzzies, well i had some rat pups delivered today (or so i thought), they turned out to be rat fuzzies i think as they are the same size as medium adult mice.

Well i thought i would give them a try and gave one to the amel, i didnt really think he would cope with it as it was really big compared to what i had been feeding, to my amazement it was taken with gusto and without any probs.

I know in the bible(cornsnake manual) kathy says its ok to feed an item that is about 1-11/2 times the thickest part of the body, but just how big an item can they take without being in danger of chocking.????
