"Samson" = Amel Zig Zag
My question/concern is, I've heard its hard to tell when an AMEL is in/out of blue before shedding. I was wondering if any of you corn fanatics have any pictures of this "blue" stage...
A little while ago OPdeepT posted a question about Amel's in blue.
Samson, had just gone into blue at the time. He went underground on Sunday (his usual routine when in blue) but little bits are peeking through the Aspen bedding so I snapped a couple of pics tonite to show.
This is his normal color.
This is how pale he is tonite
I expect some time on the weekend he will come out and be hungry, then he'll shed. Or, I'll come home and a bright, beautiful, much bigger Samson will be proudly romping about his Viv minus his old skin.
In the meantime he's just loving his UTH and being very quiet. I actually poked him gently to be sure he was still okay....lol
