Amelanism+?

So I didnt realize how many fun morphs come out of one Amelanistic corn and another type! The FAQ was really helpful!

My question was, what do people think is the best morph you can get out of having an Amelanistic female and not having bought the male yet? I still have quite a while until Kiara is able to be bred, but I want to start saving up for a male of breeding age for her since that will probably be the best plan since after next year I'm not sure where I will be living and having one snake, a rabbit and a hamster to find an apartment is easier than 2 snakes, a rabbit, and a hamster...

Things I'm wondering:
What type of babies can I make that will be able to find homes the easiest since I'm not going to be a large scale breeder most likely (but you never know...)

What are people around the forum's favorite morphs that can come out of a mix btw an amelanistic and another snake?

Amel + anery A=snow
" + caramel=butter
" + charcoal=blizzard
" + lavandar=opal

Of those, snows are probably the most common and least expensive. Butters are my favorite.

I'm assuming you want visual amels out of the breeding?

If that's the case, you're options would be a blizzard male, butter male, opal male, amel bloodred male, etc. Anything that is homozygous for amelanism would give you amelanistic babies in the F1.

However, all you'd get would be amels in the F1. If you're hoping to produce amel bloods, blizzards, opal, butters, etc, that would all take 2 generations.

So If I bred her with a Caramel for instance, I wouldnt get Butter's immediately right? This is because Amelanism is the Dominant gene? So they would be Amel pos Het Butter? And breeding those (if there wernt inbreeding issues) would produce some butters...sigh bio was so long ago!

You'll get normals if you breed her with a caramel. Normals het for caramel and amelanism. You need two copies of any recessive gene for that gene to show.

Amel isn't dominant to anything.
