Snapped some shots of some of the adults last week. Here are examples of the three different looks of amelanistic bloodreds we're working with.

Thank you, Maria for selling back some of my red stock after doing all the hard work.

Those are beautiful!

I especially like the solid colored one at the top and the second from the last, although the last one really stands out too.:D

I like the frist two!
They're amazing!!!

I'll post some of the amel bloodreds that I got from you later when they don't have a full belly~

They're great looking animals!

I have not seen a single ugly snake from you Don.. Your camera takes very bright pictures btw. I love the look of a Corn on green stuff.

WOW, I agree with everyone else. They are all extremely beautiful!!!! It is so true, I have never seen anything that you have that isn't BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

Nice snakes Don

And nice pictures too! I really like the third one, it's quite a looker and also the fourth one. I kind of like the white strips on all that red. Nice.

Dude, you're making me drool. Gotta get my grubby mits on some of those awesome ultra ambers.

Kudos on the breedings. Glad the boy I sent is earning his room and board. Looks like we did that in a nick of time, eh?

Have a great season.

I'll take this opportunity to thank everyone that appreciated the pix of the amelanistic bloodreds. They're one of my all-time fave corns.

Wishing all the folks with breeders this year a productive season,

Don

Hey, Thanks Don!

I'm looking forward to a great year, I've got some things going that should be really fun.

Are those amel bloods from your Cherry red line? I am amazed at the brilliant red on those lovelys!

Not the Cherry line. . .

You probably remember the dual meaning of calling that one line of mine "cherry" bloodreds. First, the implication they remind us of that fruit. Second, because I got the founding stock from John Cherry at Cherryville Farms here in Texas. Those animals are very red and are still among the prettiest I have, but they're het. for charcoal so I only use them to make pewters. Being that I only have the two females from that original trio and never kept any of the babies, I selfishly breed them to pewters each year. I really should bite the bullet and let one of them marry one of the albinos to see if they can spruce up that line, huh? In this "business" ya gotta make the $$ while the snakes are still worth enough to help pay the electric bills. I'd bet I declined two dozen orders for pewters since I ran out recently. Of course, that was because they all want females and I was down to males. All gone now. Hence, I'd better keep making pewters for another year or two and hope they still have some egg making years in them to help make redder albinos.

Clint, have a great production season and let me know what you produce that I can't live without.

Don...

Those are simply AWESOME. I like the third one. To be honest, I especially like the second one. It's SO unusual looking (maybe I should use the word "unique?").
Keep up the good work!

Don,

How is your Bloodred Motley project doing? You showed Motley/Bloodred with slight checkerd belly (meaning they must be outcross) about two years ago. Are these ready to breed this year?

bloodreds?

hey don about time you posted some pics ,you (sandbagger) is that the best you can do? nice snakes !{LOL} I bet you can guess who this is! kudos to ya!

those are unbelievable

I am so impressed with those its not even funny. I have never really seen adults. There doesnt seem to be too many around up here but after seeing those, I cant wait to get my mitts on a pair. I have a that weird looking pair that is het for Amel and I hope they turn out like that. Thanks for posting those bad boys.

WOW! words can't describe how outstanding those are! and i bet they are even better in person. I love the brilliant reds on the first and third ones and the last once has great contrast. ;)

Excellent!

Darn, I should have made more of an effort to produce these Amel Blood Reds over the years. Been too intent in using them for future projects to even think of breeding them together. But the ones I have don't look anywhere near as pretty as those photos......
