Interesting that they're born with it. I've seen several amels/snows with that dark spot at the front of the eyes, but always thought it was from bedding or something (mine were on reptibark at the time).

As a side note, the parents are both gorgeous and I'm looking forward to seeing the hatchlings!! Keep us updated!

Wow who needs a pied when u can have a mom Like that shes awesome i Would love to buy one like that

I've seen it before. Chad- you should see her entire collection! The prettiest candy canes ever!!

I love how the mom looks! The white is so bright. I dont know if the black is normal or not. But everyone's saying it is. So ima say its normal too ;)

From everything I have read, it's alot like "red eye" in a photo. Except since the rest of their eyes are so light colored, you can see into the back of their eyeballs all the time. It's not actually ON the eye...it's inside it :)

I had a similar question back when I got my very first corn ;)

i got "little sparrow" (mom) from south mountain as a adult, i Had to JUMP on her to get her, trust me the cost was a arm and a leg! lol

I'll second that...she is awesome or awe striking or (insert really BIG word here). Love to have one like her in my collection someday.

*Gasp* That is one gorgeous Reverse Okeetee. I would love to find one like her someday. The dad is exceptional too!

My amel had black in his eyes as a hatchling like that, but I think his eyes are all red now. Pretty sure it's normal. I think his eyes are all red now, but he's deep in blue so I can't see nuffin but pink. Those parents are gorgeous, and so is that baby!
