I just recieved this female Anery Mex Night from Ben Siegel. The snake looks great. She's already eaten for me. The deal went smooth and I am happy with the aquisition.

I am slowly but surely building a breeding colony of Flavirufa. I already had 1.1 Normals. This is a species I want to get very serious about working with.

Thanks everybody.

I have a pair of Normals that will be ready to breed in the spring. I'll be able to include this Anery girl in 2011.

Flavirufa are just flat out awesome animals!! The three I have are all puppy dog tame and great feeders. They're also not any harder to take of than a Corn Snake.

I am truly surprised that this species has not caught on. They seem to be pretty rare in the pet trade. Very few people seem to have them.

As of now, Anery is the only known genetic morph of these guys. To be honest, my plans are to build up a good sized breeding colony of them and breed the hell out of them and look for ANYTHING other than Anery that proves out to be genetic. There absolutely has to be more to this species than Anerytherism that remains undiscovered. Right now, I'm buying every single one that I see availiable. I'm kind of trying to really get something started with this species. I know that it is a shot in the dark and that I'll probably see a thousand failures to one success....but what if noone tries?

Also thanks to David aka snakemaster 24 for pointing out to me the add that led to this aquisition. If anyone sees any of these availiable, please let me know because I'm snatching them up.

Awesome.. Congrats, I think I might have to pick a pair up from you in the future!

Do you have any pictures of the normals?

Anytime Guyer! If I see anymore I will be sure and shoot you an email! You know I am gonna buy a pair of normals this summer!

Amazing..I'd love to get a pair of these guys someday..I have been drooling over them for some time now..haha..
yours is BEAUTIFUL! Congrats on the new addition~

These are my some of my fav. snakes! I am glad I found that anery for ya Justin! That just menas I can get one when you breed them and I can know they came from a good breeder!

Thanks guys. Hopefully the breeding will work out ok. I will pair up the adult Normals in the spring. This Anery girl won't be ready until 2011 though.

So we've got a bit of a wait to see if this is even going to work or not. This is a species I haven't bred yet. Hopefully all will go well. If I get eggs and hatchlings, I will definitly post about it and share photos and notes.

I've got a het anery female that's breeding size, but no male. I want to try hybrids with her if I can. I would love to see them crossed with corns, but someday I want a male anery or het anery.
