So my first corn snake I got from petco and I thought it was a
Anerythristic Black Corn Snake, but her color has changed a lot (not as dark anymore and yellow on her belly) and thanks to you guys I now have been told she is in fact a Ghost Corn. So today I was at petsmart and they have a baby
AnerythristicBlack Corn Snake and my addiction is kicking in hardcore! I want her badly! My question is will the Anerythristic Black Corn Snakes color change a lot like my Ghost has?

no mine hasnt the color pretty much stays the same it may get darker with growth but it wont get light if it is an actual anery.

What do you mean?
I'm pretty sure all anerys do get those yellow-cheeks that mildly annoy me, since I think it makes them look a bit ill. But they are pretty reguardless :)

Our Anery has just gotten more beautiful with every shed. But they do develop yellow as they grow, I am told what they are fed contributed to the amount of yellow that ends up appearing. Here are some pics of our anery and our ghost, both are only a year old and both will most likely continue to develop yellow.

Some charcoal snakes can develop some yellow too. They just aren't as likely to. My male phantom, charcoal/hypo, is getting quite a bit of yellow. The female though just has a trace that you almost can't see.
