I love watching snakes shed their skin... its really neat and I think your pictures are pretty good. I also have an amel, actually they could be sisters! I think everyone is just having a busy Saturday away from the forums. It seems kind of slow today. Anyway, just thought I'd comment on your snake since hardly anyone else did. :)

Thank you for taking the time...
I have been logged on most of the day, watching loads of comings and goings....but nobody answering my one!!! (sob, sob)
I love my amel...i think her colours get better and better with every shed.
Post a piccie of yours!!

nice pics

I love to watch my snakes shed. What is that you are using for her hide? My husband is making me some nice enclosures for all my snakes and I am looking for ideas.

The picture shows a strawberry clay pot, which she loves climbing over and through.

I also use hanging flower basket liners for my snakes. They are extremely cheap and you just cut an entrance into it for them.

Her strawberry pot has changed position since that photo...she has it stood up now with aspen inside. It's her new fav hide.

That's really cool - I've not seen mine shed (she's a night owl). Our Amel girl is also named Angel - and looks a lot like yours.

The 1st time I caught my amel girl (in the avatar) shedding, I knew it not because I saw her, but because I could hear the skin coming off. Sounds pretty cool!
