ANOTHER caging question :-)

I know there are many different opinoins on caging for the corn snakes...From things I am reading it seems the aquariums are not the best for them to live in. I have mine in a 20 gallon critter tank and would like opinoins on what is the best home for them. I also have a baby mexican rosy boa that is in a seperate critter tank. Prices of different cages are expensive, but I want what is best for my pets. What is the best size for them when they are adults and what KIND of cage is best? Thanks for your advice. Connie

I don't know if there is a " Best " viv. I think it is a matter of preference. I am currently using a 10 gal viv. For an adult a 20 gal is suppose to be sufficient. I think it more important to make sure there is a warm and a cool side, water always available, a good substrate(aspen), an escape proof locking lid, and at least 2 hides(one on warm side and one on cool side). Hope this helps.

I use a heat mat inside the vivarium connected to a thermostat. There is also a low wattage bulb for lighting and to keep the cool side slightly warmer.
