They are similar in that they are both antaresia, however the range where they are found differs as does colouration and adult size, the perthensis being the smallest python in the world!

Sweet. I'm still pretty clueless about the species, since it was sort of an impulse buy... got him from a local guy I know, who was selling me a rack and offered the (adult) Stimson's for an extra $75. Who could pass that up?? Oh yeah, somebody who's not a reptile addict - LOL. I'll post some photos of him on another thread, if anyone wants to see how they compare.
P.S. The guy who sold me the Stimson's also has a trio of Anthills - he loves them!
