Any chance these could hatch...?

Hi.
My female just laid her first clutch of eggs a couple of days ago.
I´m a bit worried about them, as they look like this:

Is there any hope that these could be alive?
Thanks in advance!

they look very dehydrated. They may be fertile, but they almost don't look plump enough. Without turning them over, hold them up to a flashlight. If you see any veins then they are fertile. If they are going to survive, make sure they haveenough humidity to fill out again. Try misting the with *room temperature* water (you don't want to give them temperature shock) and maybe moisten up the vermiculite a little. If its too wet, you can always dry them out a little, but you don't want them to dehydrate like that

Not humid enough.

How much water did you add to the vermiculite?

I always incubate until they collapse. You will be surprised what can and does survive.

Ok then, guess I´ll just have to wait and see...
The eggs are in an incubator now, humidity around 90%, temp. 27 deg cels.
The vermaculite is damp, but not wet.
Thank you for your answers!

Drape a damp paper towel over the top of the eggs. It will provide a barrier for evaporation and should speed up the rehydration process. Good luck.
