Anybody expecting Snopals this year?....

Clint Boyer

'Former' Snake slave
Hello everyone!

Well, I'm really missing the anticipation of eggs hatching! I also looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with this year.

I still have a few projects going at The Lazy Slither Ranch but have not spent much time there this season. I guess I'd best get my butt down there and see what Doug and Jeff have in the cooker!

Hey, Clint! Good to see you on here. The banded girls I got from you last year are growing great. Let us know what's cooking. Any snopals from you?

Hi guys!

I think I sold all of the snakes I had to produce Snopals.......EXCEPT a trio of '05 Snopals that were just toooooo cool looking to sell.

It's nice to hear the Bandeds are doing well, I'm glad they went to someone that can keep me posted!

Hi Clint!

Been a long time - nice to hear from you again!

I don't expect any snopals - just wanted to say "hi". Glad you still have some "irons in the fire" even if you are not taking care of them yourself.

Hang in there!

Hello Kathy!

I am fortunate enough to have great friends with the same snake interests that I have. When I talked of selling out, they said I was more than welcome to store any snakes I wished at thier facility and they would care for them!
There were several projects that I was working on that would have been hard to part with. I hope that sharing these projects, genetics and my gratitude is enough compensation for thier kindness.

Thanks for the words of encouragment!

Welcome back Clint. Good to see you percolating again with the interest that has hooked us all.

As for Snopals, heck I will probably produce some, but darn if I will be able to tell by eyeball. It's pretty nearly impossible to tell the lighter colored Opals from Snows as it is with the variation in both of them. When you have nice PINK Opals, and nice WHITE Snows, it's easy. But there is an awful lot of overlap there. Of course, I have also been producing pink colored snows, so if they ever get mixed together, then all bets are off identifying the offspring.
:crazy02:

Good to see you post again, Clint. The originator of the trundlefart corn has been sorely missed. :D I was just wondering about you this week, if you were still lurking a bit.

I am expecting several snopals this year, including, possibly, some snopal motleys.
I'm expecting I won't be able to identify the snopals, vs. the opals and snows...
since they will be from hets.
Do snopals look more like opals, or more like snows?

(I already know the answer; "They vary widely," right?)

Clint
I should have some snopals this year from the amel pair I got from you last year. She dropped 28 eggs, that are due this week. I will let you know how they come out.
Ed
