I was just wondering if there is anyone close to manassas va experianced sexing BP's {with a probe} that would be willing to sex mine for me , and just take a look at them and give me your opinion on how they look health wise.

Well I would go to the vet for a check up if thats what you are looking for. Or go to the next reptile show near you - bring the snakes - and talk to a breeder there.

Most reptile expos do not allow outside snakes to be brought in... It may be best to talk to a few breeders at an expo, get their cards and then call them later to ask about sexing your snakes.

I've never been to a show where that was the case - other people always bring in snakes to trade :shrugs:

If you decide to go the expo route I guess find out ahead of time if you can bring them in or not.

I know our local reptile show does allow you to bring in snakes for sexing or trading, but you can't be guarentee'd there is someone there who is able to do that for you. Like was mentioned previous. I'd go to my local show and get cards and maybe a guarentee that person would be at the next show near you. Just make sure your show allows you to bring in your animals.

As a matter of i am going to be down that way the end of this month for the richmond show, are you going?

Good it will be good to meet someone from the site, but that would be to far for me to carrie my snakes BUT i am in the market for another snake will you be setting up at the show or just there looking

Actually we hope to be vending at the show in July...but we won't be vending this time. What are you looking for? I have some animals that don't fit into my breeding plans anymore...
