Anyone from Saskatchewan Canada

It was home for me for about 25yrs... Fortunantly and unfortunantly I have moved south wards to warmer climates...

Regards.. Tim of T and J

I'm just west of you in Calgary.

Recently I was on a business trip to Toronto for a few days. I haven't done a lot of flying and on the way there it was pretty much overcast the whole way. On the way back, it was the same. Until at one point the clouds cleared and I saw an endless flat expanse of grids. My first thought?

"I must be over Saskatchewan." Yep, the in flight map confirmed this. :) My job may be sending me to Saskatoon sometime, which would be cool.

My parents lived there for a bit....I think it was a bit too cold for my dad!

I was looking into summer field work with the Saskatchewan Water Authority the other day....who knows if I'll end up there for a few months too?? :)

Deadmouse rambled.. *LOL*

I'm not, but I do watch Corner Gas all the time. ;)

We would like to think Dog River is remotely close, ummm.. But thats only the land that time forgot, at least for five years at a time.. *ducks* Hey, can I pick on Saskatchewan? After all, I am an Ex Pat..

Regards.... Tim of T and J

Ah Dog River don't seem that bad, except its a fictional place.. I believe Corner Gas was filmed in Avonlea.. Been through there on a trip or two to a fishing hole... Whoop whoop! OT.. DM, ya coming back to Anahiem this year??

Regards.. Tim of T and J

I hope so Tim. We were going to go last year but ended up canceling the last minute but I love the NARBC show, always a lot of great people down there to catch up with. :)

I know I met you once, but I was getting pulled around like crazy.. Wait, that was Pomona wasn't it?

Apology to the OP, sorry, didn't mean to jack your thread...

Me too!

Yeah, I know I definitely saw you at Pomona but I want to say that I did see you at the 2008 NARBC, I know I saw Gene there and he introduced me to several people from here (as he always so politely does). I just can't keep up anymore, this poor old brain of mine. :headbang:

Lived in North Battleford for six months...in winter. Don't ever live in North Battleford in winter.

I visited the Corner Gas set, it's about an hour east-ish from Moose Jaw, neat place.

I am from Saskatchewan, lived in Regina most of my life but live in Prince Albert now.
