You'd be better off buying a surfcaster, some sandworms and hitting the beach up for the prime time late summer striped bass fishing. This is just about the time that the hickory shad runs start. That's some good eats right there!

when you got a BOAT me and my dad are gonna fish all next week because family is coming down from maine :) fun times hehe :-offtopic
