Anything Special?

Hey all:crazy02:, I'm new here, and I have 2 questions. First one, I have an adult Snow, and just wondering if hes just your run of the mill normal snow, or if he would be labeled as something like Coral or Bubblegum, i purchased him last weekend and his previous owner said she'd been told several things and wasnt really sure.

Also, if i were to breed this boy with a female Creamsicle would I be looking at anything interresting out of this?:shrugs:

He looks like he could be a coral snow (snow that's homo hypo). He has really pink saddles, very similar to mine who is a coral snow. But I wouldn't call him a bubblegum snow - not enough pink overall IMO. Either way he looks very nice.

If you paired him with a creamsicle you would get amels het anery that were part emoryi (or more creamsicles het anery). I would try to find him something that has hypo to pair up with so that you could prove out whether or not he's hypo (or maybe het) hypo - a ghost would be a good pairing.

I was told in another forum that corals dont get the yellow on the sides? is this true or do ALL snows hold the possibility for that yellow showing up?

Personally, I wouldn't call him a coral snow unless I knew for a fact that he was homozygous for hypo. I've seen many "regular" snows his color. And yes, just about all snows have yellow to some degree. Even some blizzards have yellow.

Yup. I know that my coral snow (who is homozygous hypo) looks EXACTLY hers; which is why I have a sneaking suspicion he could be homo hypo. But, she should definately prove it out first. Until then, it's just a lovely "normal" snow IMO.
