Well first shed since I've had her. It was a tough shed, it came off in about 4 different pieces but thankfully I had this forum to search for info on how to help her out! I thought her new skin warranted a few out door photos!

Wow- she's pretty!!! Next time, when she goes blue, you can put a piece of plastic wrap loosely on the top of her viv, and mist inside every few days, especially toward the end of the shedding period.

Thanks Nanci! I actually used your sticky about using a wet towel in a separate container! But thanks for the new info I'll do that next time and hopefully she'll shed in one piece!

Very bright and beautiful!

What I always do is put a "humid-hide" in on the warm side of my snakes tank. I use a plastic tupperware and turn it upside down with moss inside and spray that as needed. My snake likes to burrow underneath and then he usually lays in there until he sheds, and even a little bit after, because they are still sensitive.

If your little one isn't a burrower yet, you can always cut a hole in the side of the tupperware and put a lid on it, that works too.

I find this easier than misting the entire set up, because if you have aspen, it molds pretty easily. Hope that helps!

:)
