Hello, my name is David, more commonly known on the interwebs as unicornman154.
I guess all I can say is that I've kept fish for the last few years and finally think I have the hang of it so I'm looking to fulfill another desire of mine which is to keep a snake. Ever since I was a little kid snakes have fascinated me and I even witnessed a wild gardner snake that we caught give birth once. Alas I had a mother who was phobic of snakes so the ones I caught were as close as I got. I had my first experience with a corn snake in high school with our class pet, an albino corn snake named Febe. I loved how calm and curious she was. I recently had to get rid of all my fish and move to Neenah WI so it seems right to transform one of my 20 gal aquariums into a home for a curious snake.

Welcome, David! You'll find all kinds of information, and friendly folks here! Some of us here also keep various types of fish - koi and goldfish for me.

I think you'll find cornsnakes to be a great first snake. Most are gentle and inquisitive, and with so many color morphs, it will be impossible to choose just one, lol!
